Hi all! Today we are releasing the second part of the Tatsugotchi update! In this patch, we are adding a two new features: Fully animated pets and Tatsugotchi Field Trips! 50+ new items including furniture, badges and walk rewards are also being added. Table of Contents 1.0 Field Trips 1.1 Send Pets for a Field Trip 1.2 Field Trips FAQ 2.0 Animation Engine 3.0 New Store Furniture 3.1 New Walk Furniture 3.2 New Badges 1.0: Field Trips With field trips, we've added a new way for you to level up multiple pets! All pets sent on field trips earn EXP when they return from their trips. In addition to that, there is also a chance they bring back a piece of furniture or a cosmetic! 1.1: Sending Pets on a Field Trip Field trips cost 500 credits each and take 20 hours to complete. Use these new commands to manage your pets' field trips: t!fieldtrip - View the status of your pet's field trips t!fieldtrip send - Send a pet on a field trip t!fieldtrip claim - Claim rewards from your field trips t!fieldtrip recall - Recall a pet from a field trip 1.2 Field Trips FAQ 2.0 Animation Engine We've been working on a major update to our rendering engine in order to add animation support for all pets! Some rarer cosmetics also have animations added to them. Animations is a feature we've been preparing for use with all future content, so you can expect even more animated things with future updates! 3.0 New Store Furniture 22 new furniture pieces have permanently been added to the item store! Store Furniture Added: 3.1 New Walk Furniture 10 new furniture pieces can now be discovered by walking your pets! Walk Furniture Added: 3.2 New Badges 20 new badges have been permanently added to the store! The dev team will be shifting focus to working on something of a larger scope, so expect updates to be relatively slower while we work on building core functionality. We've also added a whole new reward system for people who have been voting consistently. If you're new to voting, check out the t!vote command to get started. 3.1 Voting Streak Buffs Every month there will be a special item only obtainable through voting. This item changes at the start of each month and will never be added back into the item roster. You'll need to accumulate enough votes to earn this item! For this month of July, we have the Cyan Fridge as the reward. 72 votes are required to earn this item! 3.2 Recurring Vote Rewards Recurring vote rewards are given out to those who accumulate enough votes! Recurring rewards never expire and you can continue earning them for as long as you continue voting. Every vote counts towards the progress of ALL the rewards, so earn as much as you want! 3.3 Voting Streak Buffs Voting streak buffs provide you with passive buffs to your earning power! As long as your buffs are active, you will receive the bonuses listed below. For every vote you make, your tier buff tier will increase by 1. (Note, bonuses of the same type do not stack but are an upgrade) To maintain your streak you'll need to vote at least once every two days, otherwise your buff tier will be reset to 0. SUPPORTER BONUS: If you're a supporter subscriber, your streaks won't reset as long as you're subscribed. 4.0 Tatsugotchi Trailer Video While working on animations for the landing page, we decided to do a small trailer video about Tatsugotchi for new players. Thanks to everyone who submitted their pets for display, check out the video here: 5.0 New Landing Pages The front page is finally being given a proper makeover complete with fancy animations. Since we were working on new UI components we wanted to test them out with a new landing page. We also decided to add a dedicated Tatsugotchi page showcasing the community's pets, houses and daycares. Thank you to everyone who submitted your houses! 6.0 New Supporter Page The supporter page has been cleaned up with brand new look and is no longer using placeholder UI. We've also taken the chance to add in the option to purchase tokens. 6.1 Token Purchases As requested, we've also added an option to purchase additional tokens on the support us page. 7.0 Buttons We've replaced reactions with buttons for a couple of things like the shop, menus and prompts. 8.0 Misc Bug Fixes and Changes New Debug Commands Use these commands to troubleshoot your automated roles and figure out what's not working. t@autorole debug t@reactionroles debug t@leveledroles debug t@selfroles debug A command to reset your card backgrounds to default has also been added. t!bg reset 9.0 Daily Quest Rebalance New Debug Commands The requirements for chatting, fishing, playing slots and earning credits have been reduced dramatically. 10.0 What's Next The next update will be dropping on 8th of July, and will have 30+ new furniture pieces, new pet cosmetics and a few special pet items people have been asking for and an improved store page so stay tuned!
