[Cannot open Furniture crates]

[Cannot open Furniture crates]

Hello, I received the current event furniture crate and tried to use it from the t!inv menu. Each time I type use, the "use" command disappears and I cannot progress through the menu. It's the same for costume bags too. 
Therefore, I'm not able to receive anything from furniture creates. May I please have some direction with this?
