In this patch, we are adding a two new features: Fully animated pets and Tatsugotchi Field Trips! 50+ new items including furniture, badges and walk rewards are also being added. All pets sent on field trips earn EXP when they return from their trips. In addition to that, there is also a chance they bring back a piece of furniture or a cosmetic! 1.1: Sending Pets on a Field Trip Field trips cost 500 credits each and take 20 hours to complete. Use these new commands to manage your pets' field trips: t!fieldtrip - View the status of your pet's field trips t!fieldtrip send - Send a pet on a field trip t!fieldtrip claim - Claim rewards from your field trips t!fieldtrip recall - Recall a pet from a field trip 1.2 Field Trips FAQ 2.0 Animation Engine We've been working on a major update to our rendering engine in order to add animation support for all pets! Some rarer cosmetics also have animations added to them. Animations is a feature we've been preparing for use with all future content, so you can expect even more animated things with future updates! 3.0 New Store Furniture 22 new furniture pieces have permanently been added to the item store! Store Furniture Added: 3.1 New Walk Furniture 10 new furniture pieces can now be discovered by walking your pets! Walk Furniture Added: 3.2 New Badges 20 new badges have been permanently added to the store! The dev team will be shifting focus to working on something of a larger scope, so expect updates to be relatively slower while we work on building core functionality. Patch 0.53 Notes Hi all, this update contains a few quality of life features for housing, daycare and the store alongside various bug fixes. Housing & Daycare System You can now disable or enable nametags for all pets per storey (t!dc edit) You can now disable or enable nametags for your active pet (t!tg edit) Field Trips You can now send up to 8 random pets on a field trip all at once. The same costs still apply eg. if you send 8 pets it costs 4000 credits New Sell Option An option to sell supporter items for credits has been added to the item t!use and t!inventory commands To sell an item, simply search for it in your inventory command or use it and type the sell action Supporter furniture can be sold for a base price of 30,000 credits each Supporter badges can be sold for a base price of 10,000 credits each Supporter cosmetics can be sold for a base price of 30,000 credits each Store New items are now displayed at the top of each store category A separate category for special token-only items has been added (may not have anything in there atm, we'll update the list as we go along) Bugfixes Fixed an issue with additional menu options unintentionally hiding random items from a user's inventory in unwrapping, furniture placement and cosmetic equipping Fixed broken check for instances of people equipping wrong furniture pieces in wrong slots Fixed broken check for instances of people equipping wrong cosmetic equipments in wrong slots Inventory search functionality while placing furniture has been restored Inventory search functionality while equipping cosmetics has been restored

New Pets, Voting Rewards and More! Hi everyone! We're adding new cosmetics, furniture and a couple of Tatsugotchi changes in this update. Walks have been rebalanced and should result in positive credit gain when walking your pet. You can also find an additional 10 new pieces of walk-only furniture. 20+ new furniture pieces have been added added to our store which, by the way, sports an updated and cleaner design. Other changes in this update include reduced trade restrictions, 15 new pet cosmetics and a new helpdesk. The cosmetics can be purchased from the store for tokens. All older cosmetics have been removed from the store and are now walk only. 2.0 Special Pet Items This month, some new pet utility items are making their way into the Tatsugotchi store. 2.1 Pet Level Transfer This item allows you to transfer levels from your active pet to a different pet . The pet level transfer is now on sale in the Tatsugotchi store for 3500 tokens. Note: The pet you're transferring levels to will have its levels overwritten with your active pet's levels, so please be sure you want to transfer before confirming. 2.2 Pet Attitude Selector A much requested item, if you've been wanting to change your pet's attitude, this item will let you brainwash your pet. The pet attitude selector is now on sale in the Tatsugotchi store for 3000 tokens. 2.3 Pet Stats Resetter The pet statistics resetter resets the fatigue, hunger, affection and cleanliness maximum or minimum stat points to a random amount. The pet stats resetter is now on sale in the Tatsugotchi store for 750 tokens. 2.4 Cosmetic Trade-ups You can now trade-up your unwanted cosmetics for a chance at getting higher rarity cosmetics using t!tg tradeup. Currently the maximum rarity for cosmetics is "Rare" 3.0 Trading Changes 3.1 Trading Restrictions - Maximum daily trades have been raised to 16. - Maximum active trades have been raised to 8. 3.2 Conversion Tax - Currency exchange tax has been reduced from 20% to 10%. 4.0 Pet Walking Changes Pet walks have been rebalanced and will now be a credit positive activity regardless of whether you get item drops or not. 5.0 New Furniture With this patch we've also added 30+ new furniture pieces! 5.1 Token Furniture 5.2 Credit Furniture 5.3 Walk Furniture 6.0 New Store Pages The store has had it's design slightly cleaned up to provide a better experience. Its still a work in progress, and we'll add proper categories for cosmetics and event items soon. The store may be slightly buggy so please bear with us while we fix any issues you may find over the next few days. 7.0 New Helpdesk We have a new helpdesk to support new users. (We're considering removing this entirely) 9.0 What's Next? The team will be shifting focus to fully developing the next major version of Tatsu. Feature additions are expected to slow during this period while we focus on laying the groundwork for the next big thing. If you're new to voting, check out the t!vote command to get started. 3.1 Voting Streak Buffs Every month there will be a special item only obtainable through voting. This item changes at the start of each month and will never be added back into the item roster. You'll need to accumulate enough votes to earn this item! For this month of July, we have the Cyan Fridge as the reward. 72 votes are required to earn this item! 3.2 Recurring Vote Rewards Recurring vote rewards are given out to those who accumulate enough votes! Recurring rewards never expire and you can continue earning them for as long as you continue voting. Every vote counts towards the progress of ALL the rewards, so earn as much as you want! 3.3 Voting Streak Buffs Voting streak buffs provide you with passive buffs to your earning power! As long as your buffs are active, you will receive the bonuses listed below. For every vote you make, your tier buff tier will increase by 1. (Note, bonuses of the same type do not stack but are an upgrade) To maintain your streak you'll need to vote at least once every two days, otherwise your buff tier will be reset to 0. SUPPORTER BONUS: If you're a supporter subscriber, your streaks won't reset as long as you're subscribed. 4.0 Tatsugotchi Trailer Video While working on animations for the landing page, we decided to do a small trailer video about Tatsugotchi for new players. Thanks to everyone who submitted their pets for display, check out the video here: 5.0 New Landing Pages The front page is finally being given a proper makeover complete with fancy animations. Since we were working on new UI components we wanted to test them out with a new landing page. We also decided to add a dedicated Tatsugotchi page showcasing the community's pets, houses and daycares. Thank you to everyone who submitted your houses! 6.0 New Supporter Page The supporter page has been cleaned up with brand new look and is no longer using placeholder UI. Each daycare floor is fully configurable with a variety of room layouts to choose from. Examples of what you can do with the daycare The first room on the first floor of your daycare is free! You can choose to upgrade the number rooms, however you'll have to pay a fee to carry out the upgrade. There are a variety of room configurations for you to choose from, from 1 room to a maximum of 6 rooms! Note: 6 room floors are only available to Tatsu supporters Use these new commands to access your daycare: t!daycare - View your daycare t!daycare @someone - View someone else's daycare t!daycare edit - Add new floors to your daycare and customize furniture for each floor You can purchase unlimited numbers of floors for your daycare, however each floor will get progressively more expensive to purchase! Floor cost per room configuration for the first 25 floors: Note: 6 room floors are only available to Tatsu supporters 1.1 Free-form Furniture Placement This daycare update comes with a new addition - The ability to place furniture anywhere within your daycare any way you want it. To edit your daycare, type the below command: t!daycare edit - Edit your daycare Simply follow the instructions in the t!daycare prompts to place your furniture. 1.2 Sending pets to your Daycare Another requested feature is the option to add multiple pets so we've added that to the daycare as well! The limit to the number of pets you can place on each floor changes depending on the number of rooms on that floor. 1 Room - 2 Pets Max 2 Rooms - 3 Pets Max 4 Rooms - 6 Pets Max 6 Rooms - 9 Pets Max To send the pets to your daycare, access the t!daycare edit command and follow the prompts. 1.3 Daycare FAQ 2.0 Pet Cosmetics 2.0 In a major overhaul to the pet cosmetic system, we've added 3 new cosmetic slot types and implemented the ability to layer multiple similar types of cosmetics to create an even wider variety of fashion choices for your pets! New Pet Cosmetic Slots Ear Slot - Eg. Mayan Earrings Face Slot - Eg. Santa's Beard Nose Slot - Eg. Rudolph Nose Currently there are a limited number of cosmetics for those new slots, but we'll be adding more in the future! 2.1 Cosmetic Layering For each type of cosmetic slot, you can now layer up to a maximum of 3 cosmetics in the same slot! Cosmetics that are placed first will always appear underneath cosmetics placed later!
